I think that’s such a great image, and as a counsellor I love sitting with people as they explore their emotions in a safe place and learn new ways of surfing.

I have worked with children, youth and adults in various settings over the years, and it is my heart for people that led me to train as a counsellor at Waverley Abbey College where I gained a higher diploma in Counselling. I trained as an integrative counsellor which means I draw on different approaches such as CBT, psychodynamic and person-centred therapy, to best suit you in exploring and understanding your thoughts and emotions.

I also enjoy working creatively, when appropriate, to help you view and explore emotions in a different way, using resources such as shells, cards, sand and art.

It is important that you have autonomy in sessions, therefore, you always have the right to say no to anything I may suggest - the sessions are yours and I will work with whatever you feel comfortable with.

I offer individual counselling for adults and, aware that sometimes attending sessions can be difficult, I offer counselling online as well as home visits within the Horsham area. I also offer in person sessions in Horsham town centre. I am a registered member of ACC abiding by their code of ethics, which is available on their website: www.acc-uk.org. I also work at Arise Counselling Service, East Grinstead, have regular supervision to ensure I am working professionally and ethically, and regularly participate in training as part of my continuous professional development.
